At this time a random drawing will be held for incomplete clans. Any single players left will be drawn to form new teams. Once the tournament has started there will be NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Each Team/Clan will only be allowed to field the people on their roster.
Match

  • Matches will be played 4 vs.4 and consist of ONE 20 minute battle on ONE Server.
  • The rules for servers are:
    • DM Flags 280084
    • BFG will be in disabled but usable for cells
    • Teamplay 2.0
    • Sv_aim 2.0
    • L-Fire CTF Mod will be used to run matches.
    • All other Quake2 defaults. i.e.Sv_maxspeed 320, etc.
  • Levels will be decided by the Captains. If there is a dispute, a Tournament Official will decide(randomly) what level to play.
  • At the end of the battle, the Team/Clan with the mosttotal frags will be declared the winner.
  • In the event of a tie, a 10minute overtime will be played immediately on the SAME Server.
    • Match Start:
      • Each match will have a full hour to complete. The match should start at the half hour. This will allow for 30 minutes of set-up. And a 10 minute tie breaker if necessary.
      • Each Team/Clan is expected to be on the server at the top of the hour.
      • We understand there are certain circumstances that could cause a clan to be late joining a server, therefore, there will be a grace period of 30 minutes. There must be at least one member from the tardy clan on the server no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled match time. This will be strictly enforced. If you show up after the half hour, know that you will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS!
      • If the one person on the server at the 15 minute mark states that the rest of the clan is on it’s way, the tardy clan will have another 15 minutes to produce the remainder of their players.
      • At 30 minute mark, if the Tardy clan was only able to field 3 players, the on time clan can make a decision to go ahead with the match and play a 3 vs 3. The on-time clan has the option to decline this. In that event the on-time clan will be declared winner.
      • Once both clans are on the server and ready, the match will promptly start.
    • Match End:
      • At the end of the match, both clans must remain on the server. During this time, the Captains will both take screenshots of the final score. Once everyone has taken screenshots, you may disconnect from the server. You then have 5 minutes to report your score to the Tournament Officials.
      • If you do not cooperate with these procedures, your Team/Clan will be immediately disqualified. KNOW THIS RULE! THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • Due to the fact that we do not have the resources available to have Observers for each match. We have decided to work on the Honor System. Each Team/Clan will provide a Team/Clan Captain. The Captains will be responsible for gettting the teams on the servers, getting the match started, pausing the match if there are problems, and reporting the results to the officials.
